Begin in Chengdu with its beloved giant pandas before traveling to Leshan to see the magnificent Giant Buddha carved into a riverside cliff. Continue to Mount Emei, one of China’s most celebrated Buddhist mountains, where ancient temples, forests, mountain landscapes, and the spectacular Golden Summit create a completely different side of Sichuan.
This compact itinerary combines wildlife, culture, history, and natural scenery while keeping the journey comfortable with private transportation and a professional English-speaking guide.

A thoughtfully paced journey with room to explore, relax and experience each place properly.
Giant Panda Base → Chengdu Local Experience → Jinli Ancient Street
Meet your private guide and driver in the morning and visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
Explore the panda enclosures and learn about giant panda conservation. Morning visits are recommended, when the pandas are generally more active.
Afterward, return to central Chengdu and experience the city’s relaxed local lifestyle. Depending on your interests and available time, enjoy a traditional teahouse or explore a local neighborhood.
Later, visit Jinli Ancient Street, where traditional-style architecture, Sichuan snacks, handicrafts, and lively streets provide an introduction to Chengdu culture.
Stay overnight in Chengdu.
Chengdu → Leshan Giant Buddha → Mount Emei
After breakfast, travel by private vehicle from Chengdu to Leshan.
Visit the spectacular Leshan Giant Buddha, carved into the cliffs overlooking the meeting point of three rivers. Discover the history behind this enormous Tang Dynasty Buddha and enjoy views of the surrounding rivers and mountains.
Depending on weather and local conditions, experience the Giant Buddha from the scenic area or choose an optional boat view for a different perspective.
After visiting Leshan, continue by private vehicle to the Mount Emei area.
Check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening near the mountain.
Mount Emei → Golden Summit → Chengdu / Departure
After breakfast, begin your journey into Mount Emei Scenic Area.
Travel through the mountain landscape and continue toward the Golden Summit, one of Mount Emei’s most famous destinations.
Explore the summit area, admire its Buddhist architecture and mountain scenery, and, when weather conditions allow, enjoy spectacular views across the surrounding peaks and cloud-covered landscape.
After descending the mountain, return to Chengdu by private vehicle.
Depending on your travel plans, your driver can transfer you to your Chengdu hotel, railway station, or airport.
