DAY01

Arrival in Kunming

Arrive in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. Your private driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, explore the city at your own pace or enjoy a relaxing evening discovering local Yunnan cuisine.

DAY02

Kunming to Dali: Ancient Town & Erhai Lake

Travel to Dali by high-speed train. Upon arrival, visit Dali Ancient Town, known for its traditional architecture and mountain backdrop. Later, enjoy the beautiful scenery around Erhai Lake, stopping at picturesque lakeside villages and viewpoints.

Dali to Shaxi: Bai Culture & Historic Villages

Visit Xizhou Village to discover traditional Bai architecture and local craftsmanship. Continue through the countryside to Shaxi, a beautifully preserved town along the ancient Tea Horse Road. Explore Sideng Square and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this historic village.

Shaxi to Lijiang: Ancient Streets & Naxi Heritage

Depart for Lijiang, stopping at scenic villages along the way. Explore Lijiang Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its canals, stone streets, and traditional Naxi architecture. Enjoy free time to discover local shops and cafés.

DAY05

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain & Blue Moon Valley

Spend the day exploring Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, one of Yunnan's most impressive natural landmarks. Take a cable car to a suitable mountain viewing area, subject to availability and weather conditions. Visit the turquoise waters of Blue Moon Valley before returning to Lijiang.

Lijiang to Shangri-La via Tiger Leaping Gorge

Travel north toward Shangri-La, stopping at Tiger Leaping Gorge to admire its dramatic mountain scenery. Continue through the highland landscapes of northwest Yunnan and arrive in Shangri-La. Explore Dukezong Ancient Town in the evening.

Shangri-La: Tibetan Culture & Mountain Scenery

Visit Songzanlin Monastery, an important center of Tibetan Buddhist culture. Explore traditional neighborhoods and enjoy scenic views of the surrounding highlands. Depending on the season and weather, visit the Napahai grassland area.

Departure from Shangri-La

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before your private transfer to Shangri-La Airport or railway station. Your memorable Yunnan journey comes to an end.
