Arriving After Midnight? Check Your Hotel Booking Date
If you want immediate access to your room after a late-night arrival, you will usually need to reserve the room for the previous evening.
For example, a flight departing Singapore on October 30 and arriving in Hangzhou at 02:00 on October 31 would normally require a hotel reservation starting October 30 if you want to check in shortly after reaching the hotel. Notify the property of your late arrival so it can retain your room.
A booking starting October 31 may only allow check-in that afternoon. Confirm the hotel’s arrangements before traveling.
The same care is needed for return flights. A departure from China shortly after midnight on October 31 generally means traveling to the airport on the evening of October 30.
Plan a Comfortable First Day
For travelers arriving in Chengdu after an overnight flight, a relaxed first day can leave time for breakfast, rest, and gentle sightseeing. Early hotel check-in should be requested separately and cannot be assumed.
When booking an airport transfer, provide your full flight number and arrival date. SEEK CHINA TRAVEL can use these details to coordinate your pickup, accommodation, and first-day itinerary.
